We Transform Lives Through Encountering Every Person!

Since 1978, we have been promoting social transformation by welcoming and educating children, adolescents, and their families, while strengthening the family's role in their children's education. Our organization began with Rosa's relationship with single mothers, as she recognized the need to care for their children.

“Rebuilding the family means restoring the very foundation of society.”

What do we do?

Our work is carried out across three areas of action, organized into four programs, using our own educational approach, and implemented through six service units.

Education

Social assistance

Sports and Culture

Early Childhood Education

Full-time daycare and early childwood centers serving children from birth to age 6, Monday through Friday, providing na environment that promotes children's development, care, and learning, along with five nutritious meals each day.

Family Support

Socio-Family Guidance and Support. We work with families experiencing vulnerability, helping strengthen family bonds and improve access to rights and essential services, while fostering their active role in their own development. This support is provided through home visits, individual consultations, and community events.

Socio-Educational Programs

After-school programs for children and adolescents, offering educational, cultural, and sports activities that support their personal and social development.

Residential Care

A protection service for children who have been temporarily removed from their families due to situations of risk, in accordance with child protection measures. The service provides temporary residential care while safeguarding children's rights and working toward family reunification whenever possible.

We're Glad You're Here!

Our organization is based in Belo Horizonte and was founded by Rosa Brambilla, an Italian missionary who arrived in Brazil in 1967. Since then, she has dedicated her life to serving vulnerable families and restoring hope to children growing up in underserved communities.

We believe that transformation begins by recognizing the dignity of each person and by strengthening families. That is why our mission is to support families so they can play a leading role in their children's education.

Our educational approach encourages each person to discover themselves, recognize the beauty of life, and engage with the world, fostering the discovery of who they are.

Testimonials from people who have experienced our work and now share their stories.

“I experienced two different moments: the deep sadness at home, watching my mother struggle with alcoholism and threats from her partner, and the moments when I could express myself and have fun, here at the early childhood center.” - Taísa, Educator, Jardim Felicidade
