Baking a cake as a family is special, but when your family comes to cook with your class, it becomes even more meaningful.
That is exactly the experience Miguel had today. His mother, Rúbia, and his father, Arthur, volunteered to take part in an activity with the class, led by educator Neia. Together with the children, they prepared a delicious apple pie, sharing moments of learning, affection, and plenty of joy.
The recipe, taught by Miguel’s mother Rúbia, was presented step by step, allowing everyone to take part in the preparation. More than just cooking, it was an opportunity to observe transformations, explore new flavors, and discover how simple ingredients can become a delicious pie.
The result was irresistible and was enjoyed during snack time, just before dismissal.
We are grateful for the affection, openness, and generosity in sharing a special family recipe from Miguel’s family. It was moving to see his proud smile as his parents took part in such a meaningful moment with his class.
Experiences like this strengthen the bond between family and school and make children’s daily lives even richer in affection, memories, and learning.
